David Stark Studios in Industry City, Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY opted for a Aluminum 521 Series Sectional Door (motorized) mounted on the interior with an insulated Rolling Steel Fire Rated 635 Series Door on the exterior. Here is a project by our friends at Overhead Door Company of South Central Texas. This is the Victoria Fire Station #6. This rolling steel door was used on the exterior to give a greater windload than the standard full vision aluminum glass gararge door. The rolling steel door only is closed during wind events.

Muse Paint Bar hired our team to install a 521 Series Modern Aluminum Sectional Glass Garage Door for their paint bar busines in Yonkers, NY. This storefront glass garage door is used as a partition to seperate their paint class area from main open layout.
A glass roller garage door can be custom powder coated to any color. The metal stiles and rails of aluminum material can be insulated as well to reach a R and U value. Different glass or glazing can be used.

Brooklyn is hot with curtain wall buidlings and metal/glass facades. Architects call us to help them design projects like the one we did for Freehold Coffee in Williamsburg.
Right opposite of the old Domino Sugar factory lot, you will find a coffee haven created for the remote Brooklyn hipster worker.
When the metal and glass garage door is in a closed position, it sits on a knee-wall barrier. The architect turned the wall into a bench for patrons to sit outside and enjoy their brew.
Our glass garage door is only comprised of the bottom (4) sections. Above that, a metal and glass company installed the transom components and the pass door.
