Overhead Door rolling counter doors provide great solutions for smaller openings to 20' wide and 9' high. Our comprehensive system of counter doors encompasses three basic types -- metal curtain, wood curtain and integral frame and sill.
Fire-Rated Counter Shutters
These fire-rated counter doors are ideal for factories, schools, concessions, hospitals, cafeterias and retail settings. These doors are designed to expand upward in a fire, allowing the guides to be installed flush with the sill. Their compact, box-like form also provides an attractive finished appearance that requires minimum sideroom. The 640 Series has exposed components made of primed galvanized steel while the 641 Series exposed components are of stainless steel.
MODEL 640
The Model 640 fire-rated counter door is ideal for applications including factories, schools, concessions, hospitals, cafeterias and retail settings. Standard labels available include a 3 hour UL Class A rating for masonry applications, or a 1-1/2 hour UL Class B label for non-masonry fire walls (3 hours for non-masonry is available upon request). These doors are designed to expand upward in a fire, allowing the guides to be installed flush with the sill. Their compact, box-like form also provides an attractive finished appearance that requires minimum side-room. The 640 model door has exposed components made of primed galvanized steel.
A 1-1/2 hour UL fire-rated countertop with a fire-resistant core is an available option offered in a variety of popular decorative laminate finishes. A fusible link is mounted to automatically close the door in case of fire. Additional safety and protection features are available, including Fire Sentinel® time-delay release device, FireLite® vision lites, smoke detectors, horns and strobes.

MODEL 660, 661 & 662
The 660's Series integral frame fire-rated counter doors provide a handsome finished appearance for a variety of applications, including food service counters, schools, concessions, hospitals, cafeterias and retail settings. These doors are available for openings up to 9’ x 4’ (2743 mm x 1219 mm) and carry a UL 1-1/2 hour label for masonry and non-masonry firewalls. The 660 Series integral frame doors are factory assembled as a complete unit with fully welded frames. The curtain, frame, guides, sill, hood and bottom bar are stainless steel.
